Objectives discussion 5th Feb.2025

Deep Balcony and Prospecting are definite

KH - possible second cave, leads not deep but long walk underground, south wales style caving

Important to push prospecting - going to pre logged entrances as well as new things, compiling some of this data so it can be better planned in advance of which places to go looking at

Suggestion of holes up behind top camp, still some near there

Walk from top camp across to Grießkogel is good, gets to near ground within about an hour and a half. Has some interesting stuff around back - could lead to pushing in interesting directions

Possibility of bivvying near entrances - problems about existence of water supply for camping in different spots, and how much gear people can carry. Not been masses of snow this year to rely on for water

Could put in hammocks to camp further into pitstop (suggestion by Nat) tarp at each end to trap heat. [This is campsite in Balcony.]

Make sure camps are full all the time to make the most of them

Look into KH to see how much is written up on website?

KH visited about 2011 - would maybe need rebolting?

KH history: "439 trips occupying 9871½ man-hours underground (up to 1999)"

PS. List of open QMs in KH: qms/1623-161. There are a lot of A leads.
