<p>The Squeeze (aka Beer Belly Blues) was the major obstacle to all serious
exploration until bypassed first by <a href="../dream.htm">Dreamtime</a> in
1990 (for the <a href="../rhr.htm">Right Hand Route</a>) and then by
<a href="../bsains.htm#snotp">S'not</a>/Dewdrop in 1991. The photo shows Mark
Fearon having a hard time before either bypass was found. As well as being a
major headache for a rescue, the squeeze was also the cause of
<a href="../../../years/1989/rescue.htm">two in 1989</a>. The Pitch below
it is known as "Becka Falls" as a result of the first.
