<p>The mess tent at Base Camp at Gasthof Staud'nWirt in 1994, one of the
|
|
wettest ever expedition years. The 'lake' is Hilde's curling pond in the
|
|
winter, but helps to make the campsite particularly squalid during a
|
|
summer thunderstorm.</p>
