<p>In early years, the entrance pitch of Kaninchenh&ouml;hle's top
(161a) entrance was rigged with a short ladder at the top, to ease
the exit difficulties from the rather gymnastic takeoff. This photo
was taken on the trip that first used the Bosch GBH24 drill to place
a number of bolts which made the takeoff a great deal easier (though
still a bit of a shock to the system at the start of a day's caving,
at least the exit, when knackered, is somewhat less daunting).
