Erin Lynch at the summit of the Vorderer Schwarzmookogel (1843m) - a useful landmark in a sea of dwarf pine, and an important point for various surface surveys. A glance through the summit book shows that the summit is visited more often by CUCC parties during the summer than by everyone else combined, all year :-) It is not really an especially attractive walkers' peak from any direction, but is a good ski peak during the winter when all the lumps and bushes are smoothed out.
