Note that there is little slack in the rope above the rebelay, though there is no doubt that a lot will appear once the rope is loaded. This is something to watch out for on the descent: when the slack disappears as the upper rope is unloaded, it is possible to find that you can't remove your descender from the rope without attaching an ascender to re-load it.
