One of the principal explorers of <span lang="de">Schnellzughöhle</span> to its deepest point at 898m below the <span lang="de-at">Stellerweg</span> entrance. Returned briefly in 1989 to show the current crop of relatively inexperienced expeditioners how it should be done.
