Just visible in the pasture between limestone pavements left of centre are the two tents of the 1977 high camp, situated here as it was the only place with a water supply we had then discovered. A few caves nearby were explored, but most work was done by walking a further ten-fifteen minutes to reach the plateau.

Photo © Andy Waddington, 1977

1977 Top Camp

1977 Top Camp (perspective)

Top Camps

Bräuning Alm description
Walk-in

Plateau description

Area descriptions
