Note that he is using both hands on the drill, so must be securely wedged in place using feet and/or the rope. Since it was given to CUCC in <a href="../../years/1990/sponsr.htm">Sponsorship</a> in 1990, the power drill has proved particularly useful on pitches where many rebelays are needed, and especially on bolted climbs or traverses such as "<a href="/1623/161/l/3wisea.htm">Three Wise Men</a>".
