At the base of Jabberwocky are two horizontal continuations; Purple Prickle Passage (46m) has been explored to its terminus at a too-tight rift with possible voice connection to the main chamber. Another passage drops below the waterfall at the opposite side of the chamber to the pitch base, with continuing passage sloping downwards on the left and a horizontal passage doubling back to the right. Around twenty metres up the wall of the shaft between the entrance to Purple Prickle and the other lead is a large window which potentially connects to a parallel shaft.
