They set up the potatohut network and gasthof connection
Currently (2023) installed on tclaspire3 blue netbook.
unpack fakenet2022.tgz in /root
copy fakenetcron to /etc/cron.d/fakenet
put 70-persistent-net.rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/
