<p>Subject to confirmation, we believe that this is William Stead abseiling
down the final pitch of Flapjack II down to Splatdown, just shy of 500m below
the 161a entrance, and pretty much on the same level as the previous deepest
point in the original Flapjack pitch series (now exceeded by the new 1998
deep point 27m deeper in <a href="../sibria.htm#moscow">Siberia</a>)..
